I'm 31 and have a 62 Mercury Monterey and a 69 F-100. I love traditional hot rods and customs. I hope to have a Model A one day.

25 and wishing I grew up around cars. Always been interested in them and bought a 68 Mustang as my first car 9 years ago and kept it on the road as a daily for 6 years. I learned a lot but still want to learn more and start building cars. The spark is there, just can't fuel the fire quite yet.

23 here.....building an AV8 and on the lookout for a 40's BIG truck to haul my crap around with. I currently drive a 1971 Dodge D200 Crew Cab - not hamb approved, but its fun as hell. I have had 57 cars so far, starting when I was about 14. Learned everything I know from my pops. working full time as a machinist and going to school full time for industrial technology/manufacturing, should be done with a bachelor's in a couple semesters. I find it extremely hard to find time to work on stuff as I have no time.....

I'm 38 yrs young. always been into cars..Japanese and German Imports....but always dreamed of Kustoms and Rods. And one day i decided to stop dreaming and get on with it. My dad had bought a '56 Chevy 210 2 door post in 1971 for $400. He passed away 3 years ago and the car went to my brother. So i went and found me a 1950 Ford shoebox. Still very new to the scene and dont know much but having fun jsut the same!!

  13. Just been looking at todays birthday list.
Most are only in there 20's.
    That surprised me a lot.

    Me?? I'm a "young" 58 tomorrow...

Damn! Just hit me. I've been tooling around in Hot Rods since I was big enough to see over the dash and was always the youngest at every show I went to. Now I'm 41. I guess im not one of the young ones any more. I still act like a kid, does that count??

  15. im 23, bought my first old wreck at 18 or so a 1953 chevy sedan and a few others in a lot. still haven't gotten one on the road- lotta probems with lic over here- that and i work away alot etc etc, hope to get one of the projects (17 of) going and lic in the next year or so. I only know of one other guy my age the rest are over 30/40. Because i'm out bush (200km from the city) i keep in touch via the net, and messageboards which is cool, i think i'm the only guy in my area that i know of into rods and especially kustoms.

    Hi from New Zealand

My son Kieran is 22 and building a 30A roadster.
He's in the USA for a few months racing downhill mountain bikes on the national circuit. Took out a fifth place last weekend against some stiff international competition.
He's looking for a t5 to put behing the 283 in his roadster if anyone can help. He's on a budget of course, based in Escondito most of the time.
