portland guys/gals: voodoo doughnut meet this sunday

Here are the few that I got before my camera batteries failed, and a few better shots of the '17 Hupmobile....a teaser for next time

Just found out about this run yesterday. Bummed i couldnt make it. Hopefully i will have some progress on the car by the next meet.

 

My Photobucket account is acting up...SOB!!! As soon as I get it figured out, I got some great pictures...and I'll get them posted.

 

Just getting too lazy to post pics. Most of mine came out off color because I forgot to reset my camera from some indoor light settings. Amateur (took me six tries to even spell that word right). Maybe next time I'll just take pictures of everyone else taking pictures.

 

is there going to be a voodoo doughnut meet on the sunday of the swap meet? lots of people will be in town

I know I'll be at the Swap-Meet on Saturday...anyone care to join? I don't have a ton of money to spend...but dig walking around and checking out all the cool **** I can't afford...

Voodoo, Saturday April 10th...What time? I'm down for whatever...the earlier the better...that way we can head over to the Expo before all of the good stuff is gone!! They also have a set up at PIR as an OverFlow Swap Meet...that's how BIG this thing is!! Better clear your Saturday Folks!!

Of course the best prices are Sunday afternoon...when folks cut prices so they don't have to haul a bunch of **** back home...some drive hundreds of miles for this Swap-Meet. However, it's always slim-pickens and usually the 'Eh' stuff you can get just about anywhere...

hmm. saturday might be tough for travis, he usually works saturdays. i'm not sure if landon will be here then either, he might be working out of town. i'm in though. i just will have to leave fairly early, so i can open the bar.

let me talk to travis and landon and see what they have going on.

No racing that weekend. I will be at the swap early looking for parts for the Caddy. Maybe VooDoo afterwards? Should I bring the Jungle car Armondo? The Belvedere is back and sounding real angry.

Can you make Voodoo on April 4th?? I hope so!! Or are you talking about the meet up to run to the swap meet on the 10th? The 10th will be a quick meet-up and head out for the Swap Meet...

As far as bringing the "Jungle"...HELL YES!! YOU bet your Lucky *** you should bring the "Jungle"!! You guys are in for a F***ing Treat if Tiki brings the "Jungle" or the Belvedere...the Belve has been to known to scare small children!!!

Again!! HELL YES!!! You'll want to get to Voodoo early so you can get a good spot to park!! I'll PM or call you later Big Guy! Damn it!! I also need to get with you about that Metalflake for the truck...?? Get'n close to having the cab done/ready...

March Voodoo was three days ago and now I'm already freak'n about Aprils' meet!! I can't WAIT!!

I most certainly will be there! I am usually there all weekend for the Swap Meet, helping Chris and his parents out with the booth or just scroungin' for good stuff! I actually take Thursday and Friday off for it as well so I can PIR and the EXPO on opening day!

I will of course be there for the April 4th VooDoo meet....judging from March's turnout, I need to be leaving the house at oh....5:00 am in an attempt to get a halfway decent spot

 

is the VOODOO DONUT on for this sunday? i know it's easter sunday "he is risen" and all that. but i figure some guys are gonna show. i've got a buddy i want to bring by, he's in town for the portland swap. as an aside, where are the HAMBERS booths at the track. I'm planning on bringing my little 29A and parking it in one of the extra spaces i have.
