  3. yeah i have mixed feelings about it the spider webbing could go. i like parts of the ch***is. the piston for tail lights thats a pretty cool idea. i want those head lights. He used piston rods as the head light brackets. but whats with the little mowhawks on the grill and cab

I don't much think of this truck as a rat rod. Its not a rusty bucket for one. the whole truck is finished, painted, and safe to drive. Rat Rods are thrown together hacked up cars, that at any point down the road a rusty panel could fall of and cause a catastrophic failure. If you look at the truck, it has a thought process behind it, and a plan. it seems to me rat rods are what ever you can find to make it roll down the road. Yes the truck kinda has a rat rod style to it but its not a pile of **** with a motor.

  5. I dig it. Sometimes I think the 'traditional hotrod' guys are as bad or worse than the numbers matching and date coded guys on the restoration sites.

lol yea, its all about the cars, and what you like I guess. Hey but if they were all the same none of the custom car/hot rodding stuff would be fun right?

  7. I like the video, very well put together...trucks not exactly my style but looks like some decent work went into it so I can appreciate that

I'm not really a bobber truck lover, but I can appreciate the time and effort involved.

I found joy in this movie. I am not a fan of the truck but the smile he couldnt contain from saying he is a custom car builder makes the video. How many people have the honor of saying they do that for a living?

I am working on a entire TV series based around nostalgic Hot Rods, and customs. Its been really fun making the show and I have learned a lot doing it. some of the people I have meet its been a real honor just getting to sit down and hang out with them, and I have made some great friends too.

I will have more information up on the show soon, I think its something everyone can appreciate when they see it.

Amen to that. It would **** if we all drove period corect 32s, or chopped merc.s, or flamed shoeboxes. As it is, I walk by as many 32s as I do restored 69 Camaros. Some of the people here are starting to sound like the corvette ***holes.

Build what you want, how you want and drive the hell out of it.

The builder definitely appears to be having a ton of fun with the truck, that's great.

I'm not a rat rod fan and while the truck might be "rat rod" in design, it's certainly not rat rod in execution. As I said, not my cup of tea, but it looks well thought out and well built, so I guess it's really NOT a rat rod after all.
