Hot Rods Washington HAMBers

Any HAMBers from Sedro Wolley Washington? I was there in Sept 09,went to 2 car shows,met a Wolfman Jack impersonater and he played a song to my wife in Illinois on my cell phone,how cool is that.If anyone was there,speak up and we will talk Hot Rods.

Im in way western WA. not wolley though.

 

Iv sent more dropped axles to WA than any other state by fare and they all want the max drop.

Good roads?? Texas guys would have panic attacks driving our roads. At least my fatherinlaw did when he drove up from Texas.

I remember that Wolfman style dj from a couple of runs over on the wet side back in the early 80's.

296V8 you will probably get an order for another one or the axle shipped your way as soon as I figure out what the final plans are on my A V8. I need to get the engine home and work enough overtime to get the frame first though.

 

Gup and Fishman on here are from Sedro Wooley. They are founders of the world famous Swindlers car club.

 

Has anyone ever heard of Terry Johnson from somewhere around there? He used to run a mid-60's mustang that was pretty warmed over. And I heard he was a funny car driver in the 70's? Last I heard he moved from there into the hills in NE Washington, right near the border. From what I remember he was quite a crazy guy.

Any info on him?
