Nice start on a new project. My dad was an Olds driver for close to 50 years and had a 53 two door post when I was in my early teens that we put a lot of miles on when I got to do the go visit dad thing weekends.

    What are the plans?

Not positive what I want with it yet. I know I want to make it a cruiser that I can jump in and drive as far as I want. I was thinking an LS1 with an overdrive automatic, that way i have the driveability and reliability of a new car, just without the looks of a new car. I also think I want to go with bags for the suspension, that and four wheel discs, any suggestions on this or anything else?

I thought it looks pretty mean without the grill, can you guys spot the actual bullet hole, not a sticker look alike, the previous owner thought I should keep that.

  11. About 90% sure I've got a '53 Olds grille bar as a wall hanger, if you want to put it back in there shoot me a PM...

    Looks like a great start!
