It's been one week and here is rolling ch***is.The rear wells have been notched and Buick brakes are in the works. The Olds motor is waiting to be rebuild.
good start man, looks like a good body. Keep up the good work. I am living vicariously through you guys right now as I just had my first baby and the garage is a distant memory..........
Just my .02, but I wouldn't chop it. I decided not to give mine a haircut since the tin was so nice. It survived so many years in great shape, why change it now. I'm all for chops when starting out with bodies in rough shape. It's your car, make it how you want it.
I like these T's vert much and I think the tallness is one of the things that is neat! I think I would think about RAISING the roof about 4 inches! Maybe tilting it forward somewhat in the prosses. Have fun.....Gary
Another vote for not chopping it. I wish I had a body that nice, then all the girls would faun over me... r
I say dont chop it i have a 30 model a pick up chopped 4 inches and the body was rough my friend has a 31 thats not chopped and i think it looks ten times better
i bought a cghopped body and ther guy threw in part from an unchopped body. now after looking at them for a year i am really leaning towards unchopped.
don't chop!!!!!!! don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop don't chop!!!!!!
OLDSCHOOL 27T...my son has a 27T so i can relate. he will be running on the street and strip. so his has been chopped, well for less wind resistance. most of the unchopped Ts are in europe. good luck on your build, and may you have many years of fun with that old hoopy...POP.
