After reading a few post regarding NAPA points, I was wondering if Blue Streak is still in business. During my VW bug days, I remember them being a hard set of point to kill. They were almost too heavy duty. If they are in business, do they make them for Henry's hunk?
If I wasn't so G-D lazy, I could have Googled and got my answer. I'll go sit my *** in the corner now. Sorry.
FD-6770 comes up as Standard number on their site, after lots of annoying clicking. I suspect that's not in the Blue Streak line.
Standard ignition parts were carried by O'reilly up to 99, and they had dropped the blue streak line, so my guess, is no.
I work at a KOI auto parts in cincy, oh and we just started carrying Standard ignition parts again and we have the blue streak line.
OK--look up Ford 37-48! I know they are in the regular Standard line, so are the available in the Blue Streak?
Blue Streak is alive and well. Take the Standard part # and add an "X" to the end to get the Blue Streak number. O`Reilly`s carries BWD (Borg Warner) now. BWD owns Standard, Blue Streak, Eichlen and a couple others that I can`t think of the name right now.
Actually, Standard Motor bought Echlin and Borg Warner. The Blue Streak line is still available through Standard dealers and CarQuest Auto Parts stores. CarQuest calls the Blue Streak line their Gold line. Dan Marvin, Owner Exeter Auto Supply
