Hey all, Just a flat broke guy raising my kids and working on my cars. Got to do it myself cause #1 It's more fun and #2 I couldn't afford to pay anybody anyways. Looking for a few like minded guys and girls in the north GA /SE Tenn. area to hang out with and share knowledge and some tricks learned from past experiences. Oh.. of course we could share a 12 pack of frosty adult beverages too. Nice to meet you all.
Brew might be warm by the time I get there from here, but happy to share anything to help otherwise. Welcome aboard!
Welcome from Rockmart! Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the '55 Ford send friendly horn honks. I lived in Dalton back in the '80s when I was pastor of Unity Baptist Church, the church across from the emergency entrance to Hamilton Medical Center. Come on down to our show at Rockmart High School on Saturday May 15, 13th annual show sponsored by Northwest Georgia Cruisers.
Welcome from North Texas. I passed up a 49 F1 once. Sweet fully restored new paint new upholstery. Original flathead and trans. I was 18 and couldn't come up with $2500. That was about 15 years ago and I regret it to this day. But it was for the best. At that age I would have probably thrashed it. Anyway....if you are ever my way, I'll buy the beer.
Welcome from Missouri. In the same boat man, but couldn't imagine having someone do it for me anyway!
Another big welcome from R -GA. Herd my buddy sending his horn honks, did you get em yet ?.............................YG
Thanks all for the hospitality!! I will be posting some new pics of the 49 F1 as I go.. I am in process of lowering it and converting front brakes to disc. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated. I know there is another way to convert without buying a kit?
