Keeping the skirts and the rake seem wrong, I gotta agree with the others. Lose the skirts and keep the rake, it'll look great! I don't think there's a nicer example of a nailed, spot on '36 with skirts and the perfect stance, than Fisher's '36 out of the Burbank Choppers. Check it out:

I just can't see it with the stance reversed, even squinting my eyes and turning my head sideways. Skirts vs. rake... hot rod or motorboat... both cool!

    Good luck!!!

Like um all, and you can always pull the skirts and lift the rear back up for the long runs. This will be a much viewed build by the Hambsters!

Janne, thanks for adding to the confusion in my head! Been watching your art work as well, that's one talent I wish God would have handed out to me!
Love the second pic down especially, perfect pic with an imperfect fitting top under window, I know there's a story there somwhere!

Finally found some '36 roadster windshield post's & frame for the build. They were painted with heavy coats of silver paint and you guessed it badly pitted underneath. Started the "polish before chop & chrome" routine..........
Windshield frame is only good for mock up so still looking for a usable one!

More renderings from artist Chris Piscitelli! Wish I had the funds to build them all but soon I will have to pick a direction this build is going to go, may have to take bit's and idea's from several renderings. Just thought I would share what's going on............

Nice 36 project by the way, probably one of the most under rated body styles there are..

More of Chris's rendering to add to the confusion, just thought I would share his rendering again! More of a front chop, with baby hemi and air cleaners peeking out of hood...................
