I almost don't want to spill the beans on this but...

I bought an old original 32 V8 radiator at Hershey last fall. It looked pretty nice but as I dis***embled it to prepare it for a 3" chop and a recore, I found countless repairs and cracks in the tanks. Not wanting to be constantly wondering wether it was going to come apart in the middle of nowhere, I regretfully decided that if I wanted to drive the car this spring, I would need to find another radiator. A $600+ walker was not in the budget and at this point, finding another 32 V8 radiator and having it recored was pushing it as well. Sooo, I bought a prefect, used, early mustang unit for $50. Added an inlet and an outlet, chopped the '32 bracketry to fit, mounted the '32 top tank over the stang tank. Then, I hammered out a filler panel to take up the space between the rustang top tank and the lower flange of the '32 top. The filler panel is mounted with two screws and folds down for access to the 7lb mustang cap. Pretty trick, I think. It will definitely do until I can scrounge up a nice '32 radiator to replace it with.

You'll see it at the showdown...

Haha, just kidding... Kevin's almost done with it, he's painting it in the booth at his work so their paying jobs take priority and I guess they've been busy lately. I talked to him today and he said all the bodywork is done, it's in primer, ready for paint.

We reblocked the body down yesterday and gave it one last coat of fill primer. Now it just needs 400 sanded and paint!
