Just thought some of you might like 'em. Some people just shouldn't be allowed near tape and masking paper. Speedy Bill's T had a crowd around it all day. This has Ford's flex fuel V6. Fuel injection for a flathead with a dual carb intake from Painless. American Auto Wire Vintage wiring kit. Nice looking but pretty expensive.
More Ooohhh, pretty! Egge piston display. I gotta try this stuff! Edelbrock's Holley 94 repops. Edelbrock's flathead stuff.
Thanks for the coverage. I've been thinking for a long time it would be a good idea for someone to come up with a color coded cloth wiring kit. Always thought that Ron Francis would be the one to do it but American Autowire beat him to it. Frank
That 57 looks lie a 79 TA with all the blacked out chrome......EEwwww....I like Trans Ams and 57 Chevys....but Not with Blacked Qut chrome..... Your right on about the car below it too....Was that a paint job or did the car ahead toss out a roll or paper towels on a wet day.
Them copper bells sure look familar, I was waiting for my customer to get back from the trade show, and send some pics, great pics of the two motors.
2002P51, Nice pics! Here is a link to a ton more photos I took yesterday. Posted it elsewhere, but this is probably more fitting. Some HAMB friendly, some not, but a lot of INTERESTING stuff none the less. http://public.fotki.com/redlinetoys/various-car-show-photos/2010-hot-rod--perfo/
I don't have any more, but there was a sign in the window that said "All Gl*** Car", and nothing else. I don't know any more than that.
What was the mood like on a business level? Were people upbeat about the future of our hobby? How was the attendance? I hope that 57 and the blue Dodge coupe isn't a preview of paint jobs to come. Can't stripe that stuff. The Hot Rod coffee smells good! Mikey www.mikeyspinstriping.com "living a strange existence"
Vendor and dealer numbers appear down. After talking to some company reps. it seem like to some extent they have lost direction. Alot of manufacturing has been outsourced overseas in recent years. We need consumers to help encourage American companys to produce more of their inventory in the US. Are we, as Americans, willing to pay more for our items made in the USA, if it helps stimulate our economic recovery ??
