Me either , however I did watch it on youtube , great show, I'm a big fan , here's the trunklid of my ride...

 

Can anyone tell me when the Rat FInk was concieved?I seen a reference to it on an episide of Hogan`s heros and I didn`t think it went back that far. Thanks

 

somewhere between 60-62 so yes it pre-dates hogan's heroes but not world war 2. the term is slang from the 20s.

We watched it with our little girl. She liked it a lot cause the cars talk and she has a new thing for the rat fink. She is saying thats what she wants to be for halloween this year! We'll see how that goes over at preschool...! But it was a pretty neat movie, cool stuff to know!

The term rat fink used in the 20's was the equivalent of calling someone a dirty *******. I personally find it a term of endearment.

I saw it to. Set it to DVR as well. I thought it was funny how Roth created rat fink as the anti mickey. Parts of the show would have been better if I were on acid.

 

Watched it on Netflix once, so cool. Glad I got meet him once. One of his son's is still in the business. Told me about going out to the garage one morning, Big Daddy was working away on something. Couldn't tell where the fibergl*** dust stopped and the snow that blew in from storm started. I was flipping channels last night and caught the last 20 mins, I was ripped. I never watch that channel either.

I enjoyed it, seemed a little on the surface though. I like learning more than entertainment. That show was more entertainment- better than American Pickers though or something along those lines. Speaking of which I need to post a rant.
