Been working on my own project every available sunday for the past couple months. Hoping to have it at the hamb drags Aug 2010.

Running a Merc flattie with 39 trans and banjo rear. I made the front axle with the anglia spindles.

Can you get up a bigger pic of the logo?

You need Tee shirts with that on it!

If you have a long memory you may remember Flaming Frank Pedregon. Billed at the time as "The worlds fastest Mexican. Father of Cruz , Frank and Tony, ran the "Taco Taster". AA/CC It was known as the tires on fire car since then diggers spin the tires for the full 1320 and with the Fiat body work keeping the air off of the tires they would catch fire. great show.

Got some more done on the Hamb rail project. I acquired a killer steering wheel and brake handle from the old mans collection. The Sprint car box is mounted/mocked up for now and I am working on the driveline/driveshaft now. I took a stamped bellhousing and incorporated it into the firewall/midplate. Had lots of ideas for possible drivelines but decided the easiest and most affordable was just shortening a torque tube and inner shaft. More picks to come after that is in.

One suggestion for those who take tiny details seriously... On the "taco tickler" logo, if possible, decrease the number of exhaust tubes to 3 since you're running a flatty.

Looks very cool! I would buy a shirt too!

I like it already! I hope you do have it at the HAMB drags. I plan on being there with mine for the fourth year in a row.
You might want to stick this on the HA/GR board also.

    Step 1: Sell shirts
    Step 2: Profit
    Step 3: Fund project

    That logo is the business.

  23. Nice build and can't wait to see it run. Another one in line for a shirt.
