Anyone else from here?lol 99% on my friends are race car guys and now that I have my 49 I would like to meet more people into rat rods and such. Maybe some people to drive up to the HAMB races next year, if its in MO. again. Plus hit swap meets and such with
I'm in Jonesboro. There is an active club in Searcy. They put on a show in the spring. Good place to meet folks who like your style of cars. Hillbilly Street Rods in Searcy (268-1767/268-4580) is another good contact. He is into modifieds and does some race car chassis work. Also a lot of car activity in Little Rock.

[/ QUOTE ] Jonesboro is about an hour's drive North West of the bridges at Memphis. Our club, the North East Arkansas Street Rod Association (NEASRA) hosts an open car show in April. We give away money. It is a really good time. If you are interested e-mail me your snail address and I'll send you a flyer.
There are a few of us in LA (lower Arkansas) Hope, Blevins, Prescott area. I have a chopped 53 chebby 4 door. Kustomd is from Hope he has several rides including a chopped chebby and a 60 chebby. Hubnut is from Hope and has several rides as well including a 53 merc. We hit alot of KKOA events and a few more outside of the KKOA. Denison,Dewey,Ft Smith, Broken Bow, a couple in Little Rock. Some of us have plans to hit the Round up in Austin maybe. Being an artsy fartsy kind of kat I'd like to make McPhail's show this year but we'll see what happens. Jester
Cool, I think I know the guy in searcy. I only live 20 miles from there. I'll have to give them a call after the holidays and meet them. I'm all up to meeting up, even if the 49 isnt done. I think memphis motorsports park has a big swap meet in the spring? That might be a idea
I'm in Crossett, which is way down south, near the LA border. Oh yeah, we have a great car scene down here, we have the redneck "I run straight pipes on my stock Chevy truck, it's a hotrod" guys, representin' old school... The "Slow and Mildy Irritated" crowd, which is cool, 'cause light up windshield squirters are the shit. Sprinkle in some mullet-flappin' Mini-Truckers (keeping the scene alive!!!) and you about have it. Oh, and me, I have a '53 Tetanus Wagon lowering my property value. I'd jump at any chance to hang out with some semi- like-minded individuals.
He ain't lyin' bout them LA (Lower Arkansas) rides. No change since I lived in Magnolia. Hell I was in El Dorado last weekend. Only 2.5 hours from here. Pretty good all FORD get together at Ford dealer in Bossier City in Sept. Started as Mustang but grew. TC
does anyone know that band GO FAST? they kick ass you guys that live in arkansas should check out their show if you haven't already.
I live in the east Texas piney woods outside of Maud,Tx (near Texarkana). I think I've met a few of the guys from Hope a few years ago at the cruise nights at Chili's??? I was either driving a black '67 Coronet R/T vert, a black '69 440-6 Roadrunner, or a red/white '57 Ford retractable hardtop. I sold the vert and '57 and now have a '34 Ford coupe with a flathead V-8. One of the guys from Hope wowed us with a flamethrower show, which we never see in these parts!
I'll be down that way sunday. My dad lives in Monroe. There is a fellow in crosset that ownes my old turbo buick, its a white 1987 limited.
