Who's Responsibility?

There have been several threads, one currently running now, that want to know if what they are making would be worth doing and "sometimes" is anybody interested. If you show interest and post you would like to get one of whatever or be part of whatever who's responsibility is it to make it happen? After a little time goes by is the person interested supposed to follow up and contact the thread owner or the other way around?

I always hope that the original poster will let us know when the item is ready for market. For one thing, I'd like to hear about the naked lady v-8 hood ornament when it's ready for sale but with all the cryin' about uneven baloons and what is/isn't art who knows if we'll ever hear from the guy again.

Of course, there is no protocol for this, but if you want something to happen, you need to be a squeeky wheel.
