man,,were do i begin,,,i have learened so much from this place,**** you cant understand! i was brought up in a car crazy family and thought i knew it all untill i found ths place!! ive met so many great people here,and im sure will meet many more in the future,friends for life! hopefully i dont come out sounding gay,,but this place has been the mustard on my sandwich for the past few years,,, so id like to offer up a lil something ive been charishing since ive found it(and had been looking for it forever!)..april 29 1957 issue of Life magazine,real nice issue with many pics sutabile for framing,.,, ,,as far as i know this was the first look at hotrodding from the general public back in those days,,this mag is 10.5X 14" and includes a great story on street racing,car clubs and the FAMOUS pic of norm grabowski eating a delicious cheeseburger in his world famous "kookie T",,alot of history here...auction ends on the 27th...when Ryan pm's me that payment has been recieved ill ship it out,,,,thanks Ryan! i pulled the 48 fleetline into the garage a few weeks back and started stripping it down,,its almost there,,just need to pop out the gl*** and handles and get with it,,, my lil girl gave me here christmas list ,,other than a BIG SCREEN TV and others ,one thing she wanted was a "OCC chopper bicycle or a lowrider bike" ..i dont understand were she got lowrider bike from ,but in my search i found this bike ,,so wierd,,and im sure she must have know about this bike before me,,but i never heard about it prior! wish they had these when i was a kid! well,,thnaks for reading and dont forget to bid on this very collectable mag to benifit the HAMB~! later, sam
man i sure wish i woulda known your lil girl wanted a lowrider. i've got a brand new(ridden once) metallic green Aztlan Cl***ic sitting here that i've been thinking i need to sell since it just sits here and get dusty. oh well day late dollar short i guess. i saw those Bratz lowriders not a bad little ride for the money. good to see your actually working the bomba. i never followed and saw if yousold it or not. oh yeah i haven't forgotten about your cd eitehr i'm just being slow as usual with it. i've got a few things on the christmas list that may make good additions so it'll probably be shortly after the holiday. and since we're house hunting i'm to broke to bid on an auction right now even though it's a cool one...ken....
This will be good to show what it was like before the cristmas tree. The flagmam made up a great deal of the show.They sure were fun to watch. Oh yes dont forget about the bog line. Thanks for sharing.
