WELCOME! Having spent about 6 months on the Illinois ***le and registration process (& still goin'), I'd suggest the bonding procedure referenced in the State's website. (google: "how to ***le a hot rod in Illinois). They are putting all older cars under the microscope when applying for ***le & registration. In my opinion it will be much less time trouble and $.
