Does anyone know if a trunk lid for a '60 Starliner is the same as the '60 Galaxie and Fairlane. If anyone has a Galaxie or Fairlane would you mind measuring the length or your trunk lid. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it is. I've had starliners, verts and a fairlane boxtop and the decklids all looked the same to me. The dutchman panel is different and I think that's where they made up the differences.

Parts book shows a different number for the '60 Galaxie with the "associated" top. Whatever that means. Maybe an outside vendor part?

I do not know about a 60, but I assume they would work somewhat like the 61? The 61 Starliner and the 61 Fairlane use the same lid but the other Galaxie's are not the right length. You should look for one of the Fairlanes that have the large rounded back glass.
All the cars with the "box top" type roof use a much longer trunk lid.

    NOPE different
starliner trunk lid is much shorter cause the winshield falls back much further than the "boxtop" version of the car.
here are pics of my brothers '61 galaxie "box top" being converted to a starliner. notice where the rear winshield falls into the trunk.
