I have most of the basics for tool ,welder air compressor, grinder, drill press, etc. But I would like step up my game so I can make small parts that look factory made, not hand made. Not looking for a mill or anything like that. But something to get nice straight smooth cuts? Ya know for like throttle brackets or larger parts to weld together. Maybe a band saw would be a good idea for the next tool? How about those bench mounted belt sanders or discs?

I would go with a belt/disc sander first. They really finish off brackets nicely.

Id rather have a band saw than my plasma cutter at times.
But its like anything, you get something and then you will need something bigger and better for the next job.

One of those 4x6 vetical/horzontal band saws look like a good idea and reasonable price too. I was also reading in the other theard about bandsaws, some good info there.

    Thanks for the input

    I'd just get a WaterJet ;),

I would go for the band saw myself.
