Hello all. Just registered so I can get as much knowledge as I can to help with current and future projects. Hopefully I can give some help back as well if I can. Being from the UK originally I have worked on numerous UK cars and since being in the USA for the last 7 years I am now a big V8 fan!!!

Currently building an FFR Cobra and heavily into the body work stage, what joy, fiber gl*** that fits where it touches and has absorbed too many hours, but, it is taking shape (pun intended!!) and I am sure it will be very satisfying when done.

I have done every task on the build myself, mechanical rebuild (engine, transmission, diff, Trac lok), wiring, interior, body and paint, phew I'm knackered just thinking about it :)

So, looking forward to talking to some of you guys.

    Cheers, John.

Hi John, welcome from that little island in the Atlantic....
Where abouts in the UK did you escape from?

Thanks to all for the great welcome!!

I am originally from Sunderland in the North East of England and do I miss the rain?

    NO NO NO NO :)

I prefer the 300 days of Texas sunshine to the 300 days of shades of gray.

But I guess I still have a soft for the UK and like to visit whenever I can, usually when work pays for the ticket!!

    Cheers,

    John

    Hi John,

Originally from Crystal Palace, south side of London. Left 5 years ago due to meeting my wife who is a teacher out here. I'm in I.T.
