Anyone remember Mini_Bike magazine? I used to subscribe to it in the late 60's and still have a couple stowed somwhere. My first one was a Sears & Roebuck "Wren". Does anyone know where one might be? I currently have this one but don't know what make it is. Great thread!
Here is my 73 Rupp Roadster 2 that I restored. I've had since I was 11 and rode the hell out of it when I was a kid. Don't have a clue what the other bike is, purchased it @ a swap meet last year for $20 and put it together to race @ the LSR this year, might have $100.00 in it total but is a blast to ride.
Just to keep my word on the HAMB, this is free to a good home, but only via Pick up at my P's house. I DO NOT want to ship this or deal with it at all since I'm moving soon... Sorry for the delayed response on my part, but the offer stands..
Guys, if you go over to www.minidoodle.com, there are a whole lot of minibike pictures there by type and category. You may be able to find out what your bike is there .... Or, ask InjunTom - he's one of the higher-ranking members on OldMiniBikes.com. If anyone would know, it's him ....
Is that a full custom, Galvanized water pipe exhaust I see ? Your mini looks great, love the rope and wood handle pull starter , I almost forgot about those. I remember , we always had them tied to the frame like that. No recoil starters back then. Thanks for the memories chuck
This will be the Lowe Brothers pit bike on the salt this year. A '67 Taco 22 I just finished restoring.
That is great first time ever seeing dual exhaust on a minibike. And it's made from good old water pipe to boot.
I thought the dual's would be very quite, not so. This system has a good deep rumble and is about 4x louder than a single muffler. Not sure why.
He's working on one of his own. Getting it ready for Eagle Field in May. Our little brother is working on his old Honda Mini Trail. Our Honda Bonneville bike may, or may not get it's records back this year, but at least we will have plenty of mini bikes to play with!
finally painted my minibike. i'm kinda goin for a vintage flat track look. i traded a pinstriping job yesterday for the red one. it has a 5.50 hp honda motor. the rest of it is a mystery.
Damn Dean Lowe - How did you get to be so cool?!?! Even your mini bike is bitchin' for Christsakes! I was going to post a picture of mine all painted up, but yours is too damn pretty!
