Turbo 400 question

    Think I've got a mismatched dipstick and tube. What should the fluid level be relative to the pan gasket rail. Thanks in advance.

    Your best bet would be draining the pan, go with the recommended refill for that unit. Then "recalibrate" the dipstick accordingly.

    Can't really do that. Complete new non stock installation. Big remote cooler, long lines, different converter etc., etc.. If I knew where the level should be I can mark the stick when I install the tube.

    i was told that the fluid should be at the level of the gasket. can someone comfirm this?

    and a correct dipstick and tube would also help. I spend a month just to find the ones for my TH400. it was worth it because I am not dealing with what you are right now.

    find a friend with a th400, and take some measurments simple fix
