here is todays project on the 32, went round to my upholsterers this morning, and tonight came home with this. it is mercedes cloth, with a zip down the middle, so you can drive with half the ****pit covered, the drivers half rolls up and is tied with shoestrings behind you. I decided to go with a tan cloth, black looked too serious, and white is way too hard to clean..
Its so i can park the car outside when on trips and feel a little safer about a rain shower ruining things.

Peter did a great job, he works with a certain determination, and just knows exactly what he is doing, its great to watch. I spent the day running errands, holding things for him and making the little trims that go around the hood pivot.Any melbourne guys needing T******* on a Rod ,PM me. hes a gun.

The streering wheel is on the wrong side - there I said it. Now that thats out of the way - it looks great! Have you ditched Olympus?

We should have a drinking game. Everytime somebody mentions the steering wheel being on the wrong side H.A.M.B.ers across the globe get a beer from the fridge and down it. That what I'm going to do right now.

P.S. Nice tonneau cover. I really like the rolled up/shoelaces idea. Has that neat honest 1940s poverty look about it - for lack of a better term.

  12. Looks great Ben. Definitely a good idea with our ever so predictable weather.

It's the beer opening from the bottom thats the killer.

From a friends experience, Put a stick in the middle if it rains. Unless you need a swimming pool. Nice cover!!!!!!
