Need some info.........

I bought a mooneyes steering wheel,and the grant kit #4267 is suppose to fit the shoebox,but the spline on fatory wheel has 1 groove that is wider than the others.I thought about cuttin up the factory wheel and welding the female spline to the wheel would that work?

 

The Grant hub adaptor should also have provision for the one wide spline..This is for indexing ..makes sure your steering wheel is straight when wheel are straight
