Well most of us our parkin brake dont work so when u park facing downhill u put it in reverse and turn your wheels toward the curb so if it rolls it will stop when it touches the curb, plus its like a motorcycle, it looks better with the wheels turned when its parked, thats all!

    Best thread ever...

I turn them to parallel park, otherwise it is really, really hard.

Car shows, wheels straight ahead. Photo shoots are the only time it's warranted (except when planning ahead for possible unauthorized self-drives). My brother and I are parking nazis when it comes to the steering wheel position. It's gotta be in the driving position. It just makes the dash and everything else look sharp. Would you leave your license plate hangin' crooked? And, no, this isn't a stupid thread. As we all know, quality is in the details.

Different rules apply at car shows, I agree with 59Impaler.

I read everything on the HAMB, now I am re-thinking that decision

  8. I never used to give it thought 'till my wife started raggin' on my about how I parked the car at a show or cruise night.
I never thought to **** the wheels until she pointed out to me the error in my ways.
Good thing she rides along with me to keep a cool profile about us!

at shows I always park with the wheels turned, but the steering wheel is turned so it is still flat, so it looks normal inside.

I think it just looks better.

Perfect to get us 1/4 of the way there. 12 pages. Mark my word.

But to feel like a productive member here I will add that my wheels end up they way they are whenever I remove they keys from the ignition.
I have never given it thought. From now on maybe.
