I have done some searches and looked at some pictures. But I wondered if anyone would be so kind as to post some pics and maybe build info on parallel leaf front suspension setups. Underslung, traditional, whatever you have.

    Thanks.

    That would be great. Thanks.
Anyone of the GM guys have any pictures? Is it alot more trouble to get parallel leaf setups low or is it æsthetics of the Ford setup people like more?

I used the front parallel springs off a 32 chev frame for the rear of my truck, they are plenty stiff considering they used to hold up a sixer now only support the weight of a gas tank

Here's my 1928 Chevy . I mounted the 6" dropped axle between the springs and frame to get the stance I wanted.

I used a 32 Chevy axle and springs. Actually the whole front of the frame. I re-arched the front springs and changed the mount on the axle and put the axle above the spring. Scrub line is good even with 14" rims. I did have to completely rework the front crosmember.

Yes, Kerry is right. I also had to re build the crossmember on my 28 Chevy so the axle wouldn't hit it. Ralph
