I thought I would share whats been going on engine/trany is installed rear fenders are fit and welded on trunk floor is fabed
thanks guys! thinking about getting rid of the B-pillar and making the quarter window come down to a point This is the best picture I could get.
Hey 41, very nice. Why don't you think about just rounding the top corner of the door, that would flow real nice with the new shape of the 1/4 window. Maybe one of the photoshop experts could show us what that would look like. Nice Work. B B

going to wait until I see what it looks like with no B-pillar, due to the fact that if I do that the top of the door frame will be getting welded to the roof and there will be no seem there anyways
that's exactly what I am getting ready to do, if you look at the pics of the rear you can see that the driverside is tapped of to get ready to cut
That looks pretty nice. I like the little side window and round off the door corner, but It looks good the other way too. Keeping the front sheetmetal stock or do you have plans to customize that too? later plmczy
That 41 is going to be great. Sold mine yesterday so someday I can start on my 33Ply. Good luck LATER
one piecing the front fenders to get rid of most the seam to make them look more like the rears, and soon as I get my new fender support I am going to hang them and french in the headlights, one piecing the hood as well, other than that pretty stock
Could I ask a favor? Would you want to do a tech piece on one piecing your hood? I have a 40 Dodge that has the front all together and done tilt forward style. Previous owner did the work but I'm not sure if it was done right, the back of the hood flops around, not solid. Thanks plmczy
all I did was weld the seam down the center where the chrome trim was, didn't do a tilt or anything that crazy
How did you brace underneath the hood or was the weld down the middle enough to keep it from flopping around? 53Burb, thanks . later plmczy
not real sure I follow what you are saying, the hood on it was two peices that came together with a 90deg. bend where it was bolted (under the hood), left all that the way it is and welded on the top of the hood to fill the gap that the chrome covered.
