Can anyone I.D. this Ford I-beam axle? Here are the measurements: -2 1/4" perch boss. -38 5/8" perch to perch measuring across the top. -48 3/8" kingpin to kingpin measuring across the top. It has '42-'48 spindles on it, and someone drilled holes to mount shock studs on it. It was attached to a Model A frame and the axle was ground smooth and the whole thing chromed, so there are no numbers on it.
Are you sure, what about the width? From what I have been able to find, the '37-'41 king to king measurement is 50 7/8".
