Help me!!

Tilt columns look like *** on early cars.

 

Loose the rack and find a steering box say a 55 F100.

Otherwise it doesn't really matter because you'll need to get some double d shafts and u joints anyway and cut to fit.

 

Cant loose the rack & pinion have to much money into the setup. I dont mind custom makeing the stuff its fun to me. I allways love a challenge.

 

Ha Ha yep!!! The tilt would look best with one of those vega steering wheels!!

You have a good start and lots of knowledge to draw from this site. I suggest you slow down a little and try to figure out how everything will go together and perform mechanically and visually.

That is a nice looking coupe you have to start with. Do right by it.

well its about 70%done I would say the picture thats set as my avatar is the first day I got it its totally diffrent now.

Have you thought of using a panhard bar to reduce lateral movement?

 

any pics yet? so far have not seen anything close to 70% done. Car looks cool in the pics soo far, should look great together...It looks as tho the body was stretched or something...long doors for a coupe.

 

It has a panhard bar. Just saveing for a tig welder at the moment when I get the tig ill weld my unisteer rack and pinion in and get it set.

 

Im gona go work on it hear in about a hour or so ill take some picture of the of the car frontend rearend motor trany everything.
