51 pontiac front sheet metal swap

anyone know if the str 8 and str 6 front fenders and hood are the same. in length.

 

I would think so, can't imagine having different fenders and hood ... ????

 

49-52 should all interchange, all lines had a 120" wheelbase and all of the difference between the Pontiac and other GM makes with that body was in the nose.

 

Unless you have a Canadian Pontiac - aren't they a shorter wheelbase?
