Tman left me the flue pipe from the ill fated pig roast and since it came from the drag strip I thought it should go back. Today I mocked part of the flue(a 4" diameter stainless pipe) as the rear bumper on a blown 40 Willys. I do not come by the name was junk without reason.
I remember sticking that piece in the ground and thinking,...DAMN, I could use that for something!! Glad to see it being put to good use! BTW, I take NO responsibility for what happened to that poor, poor piggy!!
John, nothing like a car with a "little bit of history". I like my pig well done. I think the pig could have been "salvaged"??? Thanks again Trent and Tony. Tommy Mc
Willys is not mine. It is a very old g***er that is now on the street. I have had in the shop for a long time making some changes. It ran at MOKAN in the 60's. It had a blown Olds engine originally and now is blown sbc.
Hahahahahaahah...........we wont mention the guy that brought those dinky pieces of sheetmetal! Its funny, wreck one pig and everyone forgets how great the pork was in 03? Looks like you put it to good use John!
[ QUOTE ] Pig??? What pig??? Looked like a big 'ol smokin turd in the ground. [/ QUOTE ] Yea but those burgers were good. Sorry for the razzin TMAN!!
Tman, ask WZJUNK about the smokin Willys. Or, how to get an adrenilyn rush from a Willys without sitting in it It is fitting that the flue pipe is fitted on that particular Willys.
