Took this pic when visiting my wife parents in north east Nebraska. '35 Ford sedan delivery buried in a dry creek bed, still has the gauges, steering, etc.
The delivery is surrounded by several other '50's Fords. Probably about 30 to late to dig the delivery up.
Yup down here that would be cherry and well and truley dug up by now, dude what you waiting for..... On the same subject years ago there were pics on here of another mid-late 30's Ford someone dug up, what happened to it anyone ??
It's about 20 miles west of Creighton, Nebraska on HWY 59, left side of the road...can't miss it. The sand will be easy digging this summer.
You are NEVER to late! Start digging and looking for a tudor with a good bottom half. That rear door is worth the dig alone.
4t64rd...check with restorit, he has a '36 4door he hasn't picked up yet. It was full of 17" Ford wire wheels when I saw it.
What if you find someone buried inside it? What if it's some kind of graveyard for eccentric people who couldn't bear to part with their cars? I'm scared man.

Then mount their skull on the grille as a tribute. NOW GO GET DIGGIN'! Don't make my fat, junk hoardin' *** come up there. Hey Rocky, you with me? There's gotta be enough useless **** up there for both of us to keep around to annoy our significant others. LOL
That would make the coolest before pictue I have ever seen! and I agree with the others, dig that ***** up!!!
now if that was here Id say don't waste your time....But Nebraska soil has more sand and less ACIDITY than ours.also the rain there is not as harmful- You ever notice the different shades of rust on old cars from one area to next? It would most likely look pretty good after a blasting job. this was full of mud and ripped in two when the farmer got excited about his tractors ability to pull it out faster than digging.......
Has the ground frozen in Nebraska yet? I've got two shovels and I like to share so who's up for an extraction? Seriously, I think someone should try to rescue it, there may be some salvage left. If not and it can be had for the digging just think how much fun you'd have sticking it in the ground at home and answering the door 20/30 times a day and telling whoever is there "I'm going to fix that ol car up someday" Frank
Yeah, the sand is probably frozen now, maybe we need to organize a HAMB rescue mission this summer...
Thats a neat pic...there is a fella around here that has two panel trucks buried in a hillside that he uses for storage buildings...I cant get close enough to identify them though.
Heres a pic of mine thats not buried,in fact its about a foot too high for me!This was a four door, headed for the crusher, luckly Choprods, saw the potential, and worked what little good metal that was left in it,into this more desirable sedan delivery shape.Hopefully I can build it someday soon.
Did he weld in a framework for the door and another in the body around the door opening, then cut the door open? I have wondered about the sequence.
I totally agree ,someone should dig that out! that would be tons of fun, like a buried treasure hunt!If i was closer i'd be there with a shovel!
