Okay guys! What gives! I've been looking for spider caps for my Poncho with 5 on 5 wheel pattern. Seems nobody makes them... (in my whinyist voice) WHY NOT?? :( My favorite HAMB vendor can't get 'em and the internet searches turn up empty.

Anyone know anything about this non-availability business? Is this just a really strange pattern? I thought it was more common, but I guess not.

I feel your pain. I've been looking for a set for my '61 Olds for years. Ended up buying a set of bullet lug nuts from Radir and fastened a set of old Moon bullets to the dust caps. Used Cal Custom axel covers on the rear. OK for now but still looking.:(

Oh maaann... that makes me even more sad to hear that others have been through this pain! :( I had the whole vision of how I wanted my freshly powdercoated black rims to be set-off. Have a pic of how your improvised version looks?

They're not popular enough. Just get some bullet lug nuts and a push through cone.

I have 5 on 5 buick wheels. About 3 yrs ago I bought a set of used spiders off of ebay that were said to be 4 3/4 X 5. Without checking first, I took the spiders apart because was trying to figure out a way to attach them to my lug bolts. After they were apart, I was screwing around with the mounting plates and realized I had just taken apart a complete set of 5 on 5 spiders!!!!!!

I sat in my garage speachless for at least an hour.

Sounding like a push through cone and some bullet lugs is going to be the solution unless something comes my way... :(

Who sells quality bullet lugs and cones? Any HAMB vendors?

I looked about 6 months to find some for my 61 Olds, no luck. Some vender/ manufacture needs to take the hint, might not be as popular as basic Ford/Chevy but there will be buyers!

OK folks, there are alot of places I see that have 5 on 5 spider caps for sale now. Has anyone tried them on the older 50's Buick rims with the large center boar. Wondering if they work???
