Does anyone know of where to go to repair bumpers in the southern California area ? My 1959 Ford Thunderbird front bumper was used to push something out of a ditch...I think. Also if I remove the 2 upright bumpers horns, do I weld up the holes ? or what ?
The chrome shop is a good answer. And yes you either weld up the holes or put bolts in them. Sometimes the uprights are bolted to a bumper brackes. I don't recall on the thunder hawk.
on my 60 the bumprettes just bolted to the bumper its been about a year since i took mine off when you remove them the bumper is flat underneath them looks kinda funny after the bumperettes are removed i found some chrome bullets that think are supposed to be wheel center caps at the goodguys show in indy last year to use the hide the flat spots (like watsons bird)
