I just read the book McQueen's Machines, very interesting. He was a complete gearhead and a good pal of Von Dutch.
last summer, my wife brought this book home for me... the guy had LOTS of toys in his short life...great book
his brown Ferrari... the guy who owns it now had it painted silver. although it's gorgeous, silver, I would have had to leave it brown...after all it's the McQueen Ferrari, and IT was brown...
Is that Dale Jr chasing Sharyl Crow? Steve McQueen is the epitome of car guy cool. There is a reason, 30 yr.s after his death, that we are still celebrating his life and style.
You ever see "On Any Sunday"? The great escape? It was actually him jumping that fence! He was a real life bad ass and he could ride and drive with the best of em.
Steve McQueen did NOT jump the fence, his friend, Bud Ekins did. Bud also did 90% of the driving in "Bullitt". read and learn http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bud_Ekins
he may not have jumped the fence, but he did get Ali McGraw in her prime, in the movies (The getaway) and in real life, not only a Bad Ass but also quite the ladies man!
