THIS is the type post we need more of. Really simple, cheap, USEFUL ideas for building stuff. Good job choprods.

  2. I posted this -simply as an Idea for the Novice builders who may not have a lot of the tools they need.....
You Know ,Really guys- I think thats what makes HotRoddin what it is....trying to get by with what you have at your disposal......sometimes all the equiptment in the world does not make a guy any better than his Ingenuity can make him.......

  9. Good one Choprods.

Seems like the simple stuff is the hardest to think up.
    Least it is for me.

    You musta knowed I had a couple pieces of 1 3/8" x .120 and 1 1/2" x .120 wall tubing leaning on the wall . . . left over from the 31 build.
    Might be some 1 1/4" x .120 as well.

Nice part is the EZ storage.
Like many, I've passed on some tools due to lack of floor space.... [IMG]

  10. I know what ya mean Jay- I am buying an Air Planishing Hammer and I think I will weld a collar on the one support post in the center of my 26X30 shop bay to mount it and then it can swing out of harms way when not in use......

Shit....I've been searching the archieves for info, and allot of the good stuff was 2-3-4 years ago, and most have no pictures anymore...man. I'm bummed.

Has anybody found the pics for this post as yet. I would also like to see them as I think a basic slip roller would be a great addition to the shed. I am just finishing the strengthening frame/ mounting post to make my Harbour Freight bead roller a lot more managable and sturdy. Can somebody find these pics PLEASE.

    Thanks
    Michael
