i got a really simple and well laid out book about the smallblock chebby, lots of good pictures and info, as well as the casting number record and head casting info. not rocket science by HAMB hero standards, but it's stuff i need to know and the book will get lots of use. oh, and my gun nut buddy gave me a pack of 45 acp hydroshock hollow points! irony so thick you can cut it, i think! merry christmas [IMG]

You will LOVE reading "The Miller Dynasty"! That photo on page 96 with Jimmy Gleason in the "Convertible" was in some Miller papers I had years ago. The car itself is restored and making noise in Milwaukee now. Many of the cars featured are still in existance. Great to know there is another Miller fan on the HAMB. Merry Christmas! [IMG]

The Miller Dynasty is one of my most prized possessions. It's easy to be consumed by the photos but to read it is amazing!

You think you scored big? Mrs. Winfab found a '32 Ford Roadster for me!!.....OK, so it's 1/8 scale but I get to build a '32. Now I need suggestions on modeling technique books so it doesn't look like it was built by every other "12 & older" builder out there.

    Merry Christmas everyone!

Wonderful! I did ok this year too. I gotta model A front and rear axle set with wishbones, an 8-ba engine, a 30 ford radiator shell, a 49 ford bellhousing and ****** and a full set of 39 ford wide-five wheels, hubs, drums and brakes!
Now, all I need is a bike, a firetruck, a pair of "fanner fifty" pistols, my two front teeth, a partridge in a pear tree and........................
