Who's going to Pleasanton?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Groucho, Mar 26, 2010.

  1. What should I expect? I heard there's several events there each year. How's this one?

I would be going if I could get the braking problem sorted out on the F100

:D come hungry, they have an all you can eat breakfast $12 breakfast is not all day, come early.
you will have to walk all the way across the fair grounds to get there but is worth it.
its in the Palm Pavilion next to there horse racing track.
the swap meet area is right next to the general parking area, which is $8.00 to park.
in the afternoon all the bbq areas should be ready to serve great food.
and there will be plenty of food boots, and even more vender boots, and most of all Ton's of cars.

I have done the first one of the year several times (driving from seattle),. its a big turn out of variety from old to newer. Aug is the best show with the last being the worse (in my opinion)

The show was great my first time in over fifteen years. Great Great show in an umbelievable town. Not s lot of great deals as far as cars for sale but some lucky guy stole a 28 - 28 coupe in unrestored original condition that was registered and ***led in good driving condition and even better as far as body goes for a measily 7k. I was heartbroke
