Ok, so I just posted a thread with a link to a craigslist ad I just came upon of someone that had stuck the rear and front end of a 41' ford onto the body of like late 90's or early 00's sedan that is now but may or may not have been a convertible to start with, either way looks like the guy tried to chop it somehow.

Anyway.. Dunno if anyone had a chance to see it because not a minute after I posted it, i got a message telling me it got deleted and the reason being "don't post this kind of stuff again"..

I have no idea how I broke the rules with this thread other than the fact that the car in the ad was far from traditional, but that was why I felt the need to point it out cause it was pretty saddening.

    Anyone have some insight?

I've had it happen to me also. You can't post a car that is for sale even if that's not the intention of the post on the main board. I posted a craigslist link of a 30 coupe that was a smoking hot deal just to bring it to everyones attention and it was deleted.

ok, that makes more sense. Damn they're quick though. I'd be surprised if that post was up a full 2 minutes.

Yea, the mods are like Quick draw McGraw with deleting posts that don't belong.

That's probably why it got pulled - not because it was an ad or link to craigslist, but because it was some POS or rat rod that's got nothing to do with what the HAMB's all about - it only causes a lot of drama and negative commentary.

I'm sure that wasn't your intention, but that's what happens.;)

Happened to me too, and I didn't even post a link to the ad...just the pictures. FWIW, mine was even a traditional...a mutilated traditional, but a traditional none the less.

The mods are just saving our retina's. Nobody really needs to see that shit pile anyways... Better its just forgotten.

We like to concentrate on Traditional Hot Rods and Traditional Customs on the HAMB.

The car you posted and reposted didnt even come close to that.
