How do I check my vin # to see if its right. When I got my car the vin # was with the paperwork, Not on the body, That I can find. the old owner said it was with the old engine, What? So I would like to check it and make sure. Thanks

You might want to start by telling us what year, make & model the car is oir any other info you have about it. A pic would be nice, too. You're not giving us jack-**** to work with.

If the serial number was on the engine, it wasn't Ford. Only a couple dozen makes left to guess from!

So he was right, I don't have the engine or frame. So I can use this number to get it ***led in my name? even though I'm running a different engine on a custom frame?
