    My grandparents Ford customline is probably in there.....hmmm. Looks like I'm going home.
     
  4. I always get somewhat amused when NON car people write newspaper articles... "muffler pipes"???

    We could have saved them a ton of money! They could have just posted an ad on one of the other sites for "FREE RAT RODS. Your choice, you pick up..." :D
     
  5. I really doubt that any thing that got crushed by falling debris, dumped over a cliff, and had tons of other junk dumped on top of it would really be worth trying to put back together...even for a "Rat Rod"...

    I lived in Anchorage in the 1990's and this site was well known. The Alaskan winter was hard on this stuff. What really wasn't said was that this was also a snow dump site. All the snow collected from the streets was dumped over the cliff, with the snow came everything else that is scooped up from the street. Anchorage uses a 20/70 salt/sand solution for the roads all winter. Some areas use a Urea Snow melt solution. So once these cars were dumped, they were subjected to a corrosive bath several times a year. Was just allot of twisted rusty metal when I saw it.

    they need to just call my local scrap guy hey would have that place cleaned up real quick.
