No photos, but here's a partial build that may give you a few ideas.

It's it a Safari, they are rare they are worth some serious coin restored . Maybe look into a regular 2dr wagon instead for a g***er?

differant wheelbase between the 2, I doubt the body mounting would be the same. Unless there was a Canadian Pontiac wagon?

  5. The Pontiac frame is completely different, the floors are different, they share little to nothing except some of the gl*** - they tell me the roofs are even different.

I don't know why you'd want to hack up a Safari for a g***er, usually to go fast guys started with a small car and added a big motor. A Safari's not that small. To each their own I suppose.

I'd sell you my 56 safari...for the right money....needs everything...in the middle of a complete engine rebuild...rare color and fully optioned.

My 55 wagon shared stuff with a chevy, from the firewall back.Windows doors bumper etc.The front was completely different, longer, different suspension(kingpins vs. balljoints).

Here's one a friend of mine is currently building. Should be pretty cool, but more of a Street Freak from the early '70s than an old-style "G***er".
