I am in the process of removing the vacuum wipers from my '61 Falcon, and replacing them with a New Port Engineering electric setup. Things are going well, but I've encountered the problem I was warned about: The supplied switch runs into one of the braces behind the instrument panel. The instructions warned about this, and said the brace would need to be cut away to clear the switch. But now that I'm up in there, I'm unclear how to even go about doing that. I can barely fit my hands up there, much less a hacksaw. I'm real interested to know how others have tackled this problem. Thanks, Dave
Guy, it is called an air saw or (with leather shielding!) a fast torch cut or a diegrinder with cutoff wheel or -don't think I am crazy- a sawzall with long diamond blade(for cast iron) or very fine blade. GL Fly
