Help!...Wishbone cup size needed...

My deuce pickemup is missing the front wishbone cup cover. I did a search and found out from Bruce Lancaster that '32-'40 cup covers are the same size and that later ones were bigger. I'm looking at buying one and need to know what the actual size difference is...don't want to buy the wrong one.

Anyone make a repro '32 cover?...or has anyone got a nice '32 cover they want to $ell me?

I don't have a caliper to measure the ball...but it's a stock '32 wishbone.

 

There's a couple on EvilBay under 1932 Ford that they claim are originals.

 

Yes they have been making replacement covers for many years. Guys used to take 2 of them to make a ball socket on a home made crossmember. Any early Ford parts house should have it.

There's a rubber insulator that goes over the ball as well.
Ron Edwards there in Tulsa should have some.
