I have to admit that I didn't belive this post when I first read it, I came back and saw the pics and was glad to see that it wasn't another big talker just putting a bullshit story out there. Congrats on the find!

No,I didn't check the garage,BUT also in the pature is....
a COMPLETE 26-27 Roadster !!!!! I asked the man about it,
he said he wasn't sure yet what he was doing with it,as it was his dad's!
& this man I was talking with was easy in his 70's plus?
I will try again for this 26-27 Roadster !
There is also some early Ford truck's, around the 46 47 48 year's.
I didn't want to dig around to much as I thought they may be turned off by my snoopping,
so I didn't look at the front end's of the truck's.
I tried a few years back to just get in the gate to talk about their vehicles,
but was shut down QUICK! & told NOT Interested so I left.
But my patience paid off & I was welcomed in this time like an old friend.
To all the young gun's or car guy's that think this score was luck
    That's far from the truth.
This score is an accumalation of many year's experience &
of building a reputation, putting out the word of what I'm looking for,
& the hustle to make it happen !
Some deals are made & lost by what you say, or don't say when your trying to make the deal.
And striking when the iron is hot!
    So listen up!
I love these old car's & I want to help you find that hidden treasure
before the scrap hauler's haul it off & it's gone for good!!!!
I'm old school, but also up to date on what's new.
I'll be posting more iron in the future & the stories behind them,
with tip's on how YOU can find some cool iron in your own neighborhood.
FIRST! tell everyone you know to keep an eye out for such & such a car or truck,
you'll be real suprised what everyday people know about.
The guy that called me up is a fairly new friend that I told to keep his eye's & ear's open & BAMM! 2 A's
This same friend also told me about another A that I finally got to speak with the owner today!
I've been watching to see someone home & today the garage was open & fresh laundry hanging ,so I stoped.
The car is in the back yard wraped & coverd with a tarp.
The 86 yr old guy said it wasn't for sale....
in my head I said right now anyway...
    so we chatted a bit & I split.Oh the car ? 29 model a 4 door.
    I'll be back for sure....
    Stay tuned & let's hear about your find's !
    Don't forget the pics & the stories,lol

The next pic is of the 30 coupe on my trailer at my shop,

btw, I would like to put up some bigger pics like 283 mouse did
so you can better see the car's,how do you get the bigger pics ??
    I'm not a computer wiz!

Thank's again on all the feedback!

This is what I'm talking about, Awesome score brother!
Bird dogging, following up on a lead & hitting it quick!
I can relate to your excitement of getting this out,
Your pics are what it's all about, finding old iron, & the price was right too!

The pic below is me {red shirt} & my friend Jim, diggin on the 28,
Jim tell's me stories about his younger day's,buying 32 Ford Coupes for 20.00
    If he only knew then....

WOW! Nice find... It's also a real plus that your daughter is interested in Model A's. Encourage her to help you get it running - teach her the finer points of driving a stock (you can flame me for that) Model A. Our hobby - no matter how we see it - always has room for one more.

    abone1930,
    I really don't,
I had thought about deleting the ad to avoid any unwanted inquiry.
    It has been deleted....
If you look at my previous post you'll see I was having trouble loading bigger pics.
& I knew some smart hambers would see my ad & give even more credibility to my find!
I set the price high enough to make it worth my while if someone was really serious!
I have deleted the ad,if you were able to catch my phone # hang on to it as I'm alway's saving old iron from the crusher's & scrap yard's & the idiot's!
BTW did any of you see the 30 coupe in Okla. advertised just after mine for 5 k ?that car is super sweet!

    Model A Speedster....
No flaming here,to each his own!
Emily is a car chick to the max,
she's really hot on me now,
to get the li'l truck & my 47 COE going FAST!

    abone1930...
I really dought the li'l roadster will be cut up.
If anything,I have a spare a frame that maybe set up use with a different motor tranny to putt along alittle faster.smile....

Thank's again for the good vibes....

And where is your problem with a profit being made on a sale?
The finder/buyer of an old car gets the best deal he can, sometimes like this one and EXTRAORDINARY deal, but would be foolish not to resell the car for market value, or more if possible.

    Hey Stutz,
    No harm no foul....
I kinda thought you may have ment it for good,
that's the problem with being on line,
it's sometime's difficult to get a point across in the manner in which we ment,

Ya'll just need to remember us Texan's,we stick together
    Remember the Alamo ?
Most of us carry gun's, grow catus & tumble weed's. lol lol.
 dont no one take that wrong, lol

    abone1930 &

It's not really for sale anyway, either the 30 or the l'il 28 roadster.
I do sell some car's though, as I have to fund my addiction to old iron !
I got it bad real, bad ! lol
I have around 60 + car's, so you see I do have to sell something's now & then.

    abone1930
I hope you kept my # off the ad
If your ever in my area feel free to drop by & check out my iron's
    Same to you pasadenahotrod

    Later Ya'll

Nice score. I work out of Canton. I never see anything that nice for sale around the area. It pays to keep your eyes open.

A very good example of how to post up these types of accounts,stories,tales...whatever!

  30. below is a pic link to my newest bought it this past saturday its a 57ford retractable hardtop been sitting in the same spot for 25 years its a rusted hunk of junk was parked because of a blown engine(supposedly) it only has 62000 showing on the odometer

i have to wait another 2 weeks before i drag it out it will either come out whole or in half but either way its coming out

such a sad end for such a cool /desireable car
