    i've been making some pretty good progress on the car and just wanted to share a few recent pics with you guys. the "skeleton" for the rear sheetmetal is almost finished. i've still got some welding to do, and i need to fabricate a small floor section from the gas tank to the back of the car, but so far, so good, , , ,then, it's onto skinning the rear with sheetmetal....

    I am glad to see this project still chugging along! I love this thing!
    one of the best builds on the HAMB.

    next one will be much simpler, , , ,but that's what i said about this one :rolleyes:

    although i do have some pretty crazy ideas rattling around in my head for a future build,,,,,,

    when i am finally done with this one, i plan to drive the wheels off it and enjoy it for a while,,

    It is great to see some updated pics/progress on this. Glad your move went well, you've setttled in, AND GOT YOUR *** BACK TO WORK ON IT!!! CHEERS!!! I really hope that when this one is done, I can somehow see it in person. Can't wait. Thanks for the update.

    So how will the trunk open? Regular with the hinge in front?
    Or maybe with the hinge in the back? I think the hinge in the back would be interesting.
    Maybe the truck could hinge down the middle like a Model A hood...

    Lookin' Good...but I'm concerned about those 2" X 4"s in there...I know it's hard to weld on them :rolleyes::rolleyes: ...but bondo sticks to wood real well :eek::eek:...I'm trusting that's your plan...

    damn man... this just keeps AMAZING me... every new step is dead on

    i for one am ready to chip in some money if you ever hit hard times and tihnk about sellin it, i think we should all get together then and help you through your issue.. i personally never ever wanna see this car leave your hands :0)

    Glad to see you're making progress. The sweep of that deck lid works much better than the Chevy hood did. Wish I could still check the updates "in person", but you missed a ****py Winter up here.

    still playing around with that idea, but at this point i'm planning on no trunk lid to keep the lines as streamlined and smooth as possible
