Up here waiting on spring; planning for a big cross country trip this summer, starting with the HRPT, then working my way to Rocky Mt. Nats in Pueblo, Los Vegas, LA, HWY 1 up the coast to Puyallup Goodguys. Then across the highline and back to NY. All this in my homebuilt '58 Chevy Apache Fleetside. Enjoying cold beer and conversations about hot rodding and the future of old metal. Working on a book based on interviews with folks that drive what they build. Which is, btw, the name of my website (www.drivewhatyoubuild.com) which explains with a little detail what the effort is about. Two photos of my ride:

almost done with my seafoam primered slammed 59 apache short box big window fleetside in Pennellville NY (just north of syracuse) will be posting the build thread here in a few weeks , will be at the nationals , hope to see your truck there . jp look for me in this if my apache isn't ready
