    Howdy Y'all!

I have a few Questions about a few old tools I was hoping someone might be able to help me Identify the year & possibly model #'s.

Oh & if they are worth anything.

1st is a older Snap~On tool box .I could have sworn that I found a ID plate before I bought it but I am getting older & my CRS must be getting worse.

I did some horse trading for it to use in my buddies shop ,but he sold his shop.
It has the weirdest wheels I've ever seen.

    2nd is a 3/8th" & a 1/2" Snap~On breaker bars with off set drives & double as a extension the 3/8th" I have had for over 25 years & the 1/2 I just acquired.

3rd is a old drill I saved from the metal recyclers pile.

4th .... Well....DAMIFIANO:rolleyes: it says Stanley on it but IDUNNO, I have no freakin clue.

Well thank You for your time & I hope to end the mystery's.

I look foward to the reply's

  2. If you do a search on here for Snap on or old tools..not sure which, there is a link to a site that decodes the little hallmarks on Snap on tools, which have a different mark for each year.

Of course they are worth something..they are Snap on tools..if nothing else you could use them in your garage.
alot of guys dont have a good breaker bar, They use a ratchet and pipe or a torque wrench..

Slowride; the Stanley tool sets the tooth pitch on your hand saw (wood working).

    desertratrodder,
I did a Google search & on the HAMB until my fingers fell off { a few hour}.

I even went out to the tool box & looked all over again to some ID.

    I was not being lazy.

That is why I posted I figured it was time for some help, Maybe someone would be familiar with one of the Items .

    Like refyred,

I still have a old saw somewhere I should give it a try ,

    Thank You

    1 down 3 to go {for now I think I have a few more that are mysteries}

Everything Snap-on is worth a couple a bucks even if just as a novelty item. Go to collectingsnapon.com and you can look up your tools and the box.

    Hey ! No Biggie.

Sometimes I can get lost goggling stuff & it might take days to remember what I started with. I have to write it down keep it next to the puter & there is always a search I meant to do right after I shut it down.

HA HA no I know where "WINGDINGS " came from.

I always thought some of my Snap~ON dealers were a bit dingy to start with .

    That chart is cool .

I think Craftsman has a similar one.

    Learn something new every day.

    Thanks

    Found the tool Box.

It & I are almost the same age.

Now I will have to dig out my Grand Pa's "******* Set" & see what those old sockets have to say for them selves.

A few Questions & now I have more Questions OH BoyE.

What do you all think should I restore the old box?

Someone did some half *** spray bombing & its flaking off.

Are there any more sites like that Snap~On one you have available?

    Thanks

Wow! Haven't heard that word in a while...kerf is the "dish" put into a big circle blade to keep it from wobbling, or so I was told. The pitch of the teeth is usually called "set", at least in my world, LOL. Different areas used different terms I suppose..:)
