Mid 70's today, 80's tommorow and Friday! Went and got the wagon out last night, it fired right up after it's winter nap at my in-laws. Now, what should I drive today? Maybe I should take the snowblower off and pick up sticks in the yard instead of going for a ride?
Lucky Dog!!!!!! It's currently snowing outside my window...couple inches already. Guess I can't goof off today.....
Hey Brian, what kind of car is that roadster? I like the trunk on it! Thank God for spring, we even camped out in the front yard last weekend because the Dam's campground isn't open yet...lol http://s215.photobucket.com/albums/...ing Camp-In/?action=view¤t=1e90fb19.jpg
Thanks John. The "roadster" is the '36 "Fordillac". It started life as a '36 humpback sedan, this is what was left after cutting off and throwing away the ugly parts. Shamelessly tooting my own horn, you can see the car last months (April) issue of "HOT ROD" magazine, or search "Fordillac" here, and you can see all the stuff I did wrong building it. We camped out in our back yard this time of year when we got our first camper, a pop up pickup camper. Only time we used the furnace! Brian
I called the insurance man last Friday and plan to get one of the cars out this Friday. Finally temps in the 70's...
i drove mine-65 degrees & sunny-looks like i will be driving my old shop truck for at least the next few days
Got the new registration for the wagon today and a new plate for the 49. Plan on taking the boys to the park on Good friday in the wagon. Spring is here and I'm ready to drive some old cars again!
Ride today pick up sticks in the yard anytime....I got my wife's 37 chevy out last Saturday afternoon. It was her first ride in the 37. We are ready for some fun now...
I think you should hop in that wagon and drive it over here. It NEEDS to be in my garage. I've actually taken Big Olds out a few times already this year. I'm taking him out tonight for sure. We're heading up to the auto parts store to hang out with the usual Wednesday night crowd. By the time I get there at 6 the grill with be fired up and the guys will already be chowing down on dogs and burgers. It's 70 degrees!
I left for work this morning at 5:15 and it was NICE! I got to ride with the window down in the Saturn and wished I was in a '29 roadster.
