I think GMC used Pontiac engines, not the Olds. Very cool tho.

they used both, depending on the weight cl*** of the vehicle. heavier duty trucks got the olds.

  5. There is a 66 GMC in a junkyard up here with a 401/425 nailhead in it. The guy put it in there though.....

I always find it a little depressing seeing cool cars wasting away. Someone at one time spent a lot of time and effort on those things. The stories they could tell. Bright and Early is very cool... same with the wagon.

I agree with you there 73super,

I had a firend who used to have a truck wrecking yard and he had sheep running in there all the time to keep all the gr*** down, it turned out to be a good investment because they kept the yard tidy as well, mind you the sheep **** didn't really worry anyone. If you look at those car you have to wonder how much better they would have been had the gr*** been kept at bay.

I bet in the middle of summer you can't see any of that cause the gr*** is so deep.
Kool pix though. Wish the yards around here had stuff in that condition.

Your bet would be correct. Some of the cars are completely hidden in the summer, you wouldn't even know they were there.
